The Mainichi-Tuen-Bu program allows the children to separate from their mothers and develop their own relationships@with other children at the gCenter."
In a child care center-like atmosphere the children play in groups. They are encouraged to learn from each other and to develop the ability to make his or her own choices.
Montessori tools and teaching methods are used to develop eye-hand co-ordination, shape recognition, dexterity as well as personal grooming and daily living skills. These methods also assists children in play and socialization so they can adapt better in the society and not be isolated at home.
The children in the Mainichi-Tuen-Bu program have regular interactions with children at an adjacent school called Umeda gKodomo-no-Ie." This provides typically developing children the opportunity to play with special needs children-helping to break down social barriers while challenging the Mainichi-Tuen-Bu children to play games and communicated to their best ability. Spechialist (OT, PT, ST, etc.)
Provide direct service to some of the children in Manichi-Tsuen-Bu program and are available to share observations or give advice to special education teachers.
